Yates’ website states that copper oxychloride can be sprayed on vegetables at ’14 day intervals’. Should I take this as meaning it can be applied fortnightly all year round even when harvesting? And is this for all vegetables. I am mainly asking about brassicas.

thank you

Hi Carol, This is correct as Copper is an “organic compound” it can be used regularly. Still I would only recommend to spray Brassica as required rather than every fortnight there is no need for this. (maybe in late spring when temperature are high and humidity is high to control fungal problems, I can’t see any reason to use this at the moment.

Thanks the Palmers Team
