Good morning, I am having troube with my passionfruit, it is very sick. Last year, it’s first fruiting season it was amazing with plenty of fruiit. Sadly this year, the plant was lush green and the fruit was getting quite big, then all of a sudden the leaves in the middle of the plant have died, deformed fruit is falling off unripe and the whole plant is looking very sad. Your advice please. Kind regards Lorraine

Hi Lorraine, it’s possible it’s borer that has got into the stem of the plant which would interfere with the sap flow and cause the plant to collapse. Otherwise look for some damage along the stem like dieback due to possible water logging (they hate wet feet). Good luck! The Palmers team
