I am needing to plant a Griselina Hedge – Is the ground too cold to do that now?

Hi Amber, No it isn’t too cold now. Planting now will give the plants roots a chance to establish before it gets dry over the summer. The plants are unlikely to put on much leaf growth until spring though, which is fine as new growth at this time of year could be damaged by frosts. If by any chance the tips get a little frosted, give them a light trim in early spring, and they will flush away nicely.

Thanks the Palmers Team
