I have a large ugly bank that I would like to cover up. I was thinking of Virginia Creeper, would you recommend this?

I would personally go for massed natives. Such as large drifts of Dwarf green and black flax and hardy ground covers such as Coprosma acerosa, Coprosma ‘Poor knights’. These entice birds an are low maintenance. Handling drought and poor soils also.
