I have stripped my lemon tree of fruit after being told that if I didn’t there would be no new fruit. What I am left with is a very bare tree, yellow leaves, and long thin branches which do not look very
healthy. I have put epsom salts around and also Neem grains but it is not showing any sign of good healthy life. Please can you advise me what to do?

Hi Pamela, Patience is probably the best idea right now, Not sure why ALL fruit was removed, removing some fruit on young plants is recommended, removing all fruit doesn’t do any harm, but is a bit harsh! Epsom salt is fine and Neem granules will help with overall health, no doubt new growth will come as soon as the sun starts shining again, ensure not to give it too much water right now. Going forward a 6-8 weekly spray of Free flow copper and Enspray oil (both organic) will ensure a healthy year round Citrus (watch the Citrus video clip on the Palmers website). Thanks the Palmers Team
