I have leucoermum about6 years old in sandy sunny headland. It has recently yellowed most of foliage. I know you have to be very careful to avoid standard fertilisers but do you think it might be short of trace nutrients or can you suggest what to do?

Hi Chris,

I am concerned that the whole plant has yellowed not a good sign, it often means something has happened to the plant i.e. extreme dryness (or wet) sprayed with inappropriate spray or physical damage to the plant. It would be very unusual for a Leucospernum to show signs of “hunger” I would recommend to check if any of the above apply in that case end result is not positive or if possible address the issue. I would not apply fertiliser.

Thanks The Palmers Team
