Hi there
I have a large lime tree which is laden with limes but unfortunately as it is so heavy a large branch has snapped off. Will the limes on this branch still ripen if we remove them (have to remove the branch)? Will the tree surviv and carry on fruiting?

Thanks heaps for you help!

Hi Andrea thanks for your question. Sounds like a lot of limes! With a pruning saw remove the branch that is broken carefully. Apply pruning paint straight away to the cut wound. Store the limes in a fruit bowl. It may be too early to ripen but you can only try.
