How do I go about removing a number of 10 year old camellia plants from a courtyard so that they are not destroyed when my home is rebuilt, and then re plant them about 5 months later. Are you able to recommend anyone who could come and do this for me?

If possible move them when they are not flowering and ensure a large amount of the root ball is lifted. Camellia do not like being moved very much but it can be done if you keep up with watering most days and they are kept in a sheltered shaded area. They should be wrapped in sacking but do not guarantee they will cope with the transplant over such a long time. Sorry I could not recommend anyone to do the move for you but call into your local store and ask them for a garden consultant they could recommend.
