I have recently moved house and am clearing the garden. The soil is very wet and clay. There are heaps of huge worms. Any advice on what to do with it would be appreciated?

as the weather warms and the rain eases then improve the soil with Gypsum at a rate of 3kg per m2. Don’t do it now if your soil is sodden but try in a few weeks and before summer. Once that is dug into the top 15cm of soil then add a 15cm layer of compost and dig that in to the clay/gypsum mix. Every 6 months keep adding compost to build up the soil structure.
