My raspberry plant has seen better days. The leaves are yellow and sometimes turn to dry brown, berries are scarce now. It is still in the same pot as when I bought it and has not grown much as I tend to tidy it up when things start to wilt on it. Do I need to transfer it to a bigger pot or is there something else I can do?
I bought a Meyer lemon plant about 2 years ago. It is now fruiting (2nd second time). The leaves are turning yellow now. This has happened quite a few times in the past. I normally remedied the problem with Sequestron. The difference this time round is that more leaves are turning yellow. I have applied Sequestron quite regularly. It does not seem to help. My lemon plant is potted. I fed it with Palmer’s sheep pellets regularly. I watered it regularly. Pls advise.
My Mandarin tree’s leaves have slowly been turning yellow for months now. The new leaves are all curled up. It seems stunted now – it doesn’t seem to be getting bigger at all. I bought it a year ago, planted it in a large pot, and have fed it Citrus Food twice this year. It is an Encore Dwarf variety. What could the problem be?
Plum Tree – could be around 20 years old at a guess. It has never produced great fruit, pretty much the size of a cherry, nice flavour just really small. Anyway the problem is this year we have had no leaves – it looks dead – there is quite a bit of moss all over the branches so I’m guessing this could be why – if so is there something I need to spray on it to remove the moss or should I just give it a real good cut back.
I have been given a badly frost bitten young avocado tree, I have it in a sheltered sunny spot and am currently using a frost sheet over it at night to protect from further damage, what can I do to help this plant recover. I’m very new to vegetable/fruit gardening, thanks
I planted a Meyer lemon tree about a year ago. It flowered once, but I was advised to pluck off all the flowers for the first time. It is starting to flower again. However, some lemon trees in the neighbourhood are already having quite large lemons. Why the timing difference?
I have got passionfruit vines and was wondering if catmint and lavender would attract the bees as they are needed to pollinate the passionfruit. Could you suggest anything else that I could grow now that would attract the bees and grows fast?
Planted passionfruit in garden prob 8 months ago, have never done anything to stake them and they are losing color in leaves and seem to be eaten by some bug, any suggestions to give them some life before summer hits? Laid Compost in the garden last month but should I put citrus fert around them? I never did that when I put them in the ground as was suggested at the time.
