I have a lemon tree in a pot – 7/8 years old – it produces well but some of the leaves are developing quite large brown patches, mostly at the tip end of leave but some brown blotches in middle of leaves. I water and fertilize it regularly.

I have an enormous crop of feijoas on my well-established Apollo tree, but some of the fruit is developing pale brown areas which rot very quickly. How can I deal with this?

I have a lemon tree in a large pot. It has had borer. I cut off the affected branches and it bushed up beautifully. Looks like the borer’s still there tho. Can it be successsfully treated? If so with what for an organic garden and is it worth transplanting to the ground. It’s around 10 years old.

Can you transplant a fruiting lemon tree? We have such a great lemon tree with beautiful lemons but it needs to be moved or it will be cut down to make way for a carport. Very sad.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Many thanks.

I have a first year passionfruit which gave me 4 flowers but only 2 fruits… The larger of the 2 is still green but it is starting to wrinkle… The other is ok but still green… They stopped growing about a month ago… Some of the leaves r yellow and the green ones don’t really look too good… Do I need to feed them something or spray them?
I am not really a gardener but do love passion fruit

Hi there, I want to grow 4 medium size trees of fruit at my home, can you please advise what fruit trees I can grow easily at home. I wants these tress in medium size. I have digged 4 ground holes of 1meter x 1meter and 1meter deep as well. All these holes are 3meter apart from each other in straight line. Soil is too sandy and too much stones as it’s new built property. I am planning to fill these holes with compost. Plz advise if I am doing right.
I have chosen lime as one of Tree, can you please advise what other medium size trees I can grow to get good crop of fruit for my family.

I have a young cherry tree (planted almost two years ago) that appears to have cherry blast. The leaves have all drooped and died, and the bark has split. The bark has not split all the way down the trunk, although it is over the majority.

Am I best to prune it down to where the trunk appears to be fine, or just pull the whole tree out?

I’m a very novice gardener so just not quite sure!

Also, are there any tips on preventing this in the future for my other fruit trees?

I have a large, dead branch on an Apple tree that I want to remove. Do I need to apply a ‘sealer’ of any kind, and, if so, what?

I have 3 x Feijoa tree’s (small) that didn’t produce any Feijoa’s last season and don’t show any sign of producing this coming season either (no buds forming) though I don’t know whether they should as yet. It may have been their first or second season earlier this year but they were quite well established healthy looking plants though I recently noted scale which I have just sprayed for. Other Feijoa tree’s I have had have all produced well in there first season. It is good well drained soil and the blueberry’s next to them went well. What could the reason be for none production? Can I do something to encourage production?
Thanks, Stephen

Do lime trees like to be planted next to a lemon tree? My lime tree is planted next to a prolific fruiting lemon tree and is still sulking after four years.
