We have a Monstera and it is spreading out sideways. I heard that you can teach them to grow up a pole, what sort of stake would we use and how do we train it to go up rather than out?

My anthurium has been flourishing For several years, flowering well and with healthy foliage. It has now become very leggy and tends to flop over the pot. Can I cut the stems a couple of inches below the lowest leaf and replant these? And the existing root and crown? This has not become too big for the pot so doesn’t.t need to be divided, I don’tthink. Shall I repot or just leave the crown to hopefully regrow. Thank you.

Please can you advise me what to do about a moth orchid that was flowering when I was given it, but hasn’t done since. I have had it for about 2 years and the leaves look healthy enough. I water it about every 2 weeks.

I just bought an indoor plant called Venus Fly Trap. It was amazing. A fly got caught and that flower is closed tightly. What do I do now? To chop that flower? or just leave it like that?

Hi, I was given a beautiful little orchid for Christmas by a very special person. It’s in a small container and there seems to be all roots and not much dirt. The flower fell of and one leaf went yellow and fell off. Any hope for it do you think?

Hi

I purchased a Birds if Paradise plant from Palmers a few months back and have kept it as an indoor plant.

It had really thrived with several new leaves and has doubled in size. Recently the leaves have begun to curl inwards, first the newest on top and slowly the others. I did a google search which said it may be root bound so have repotted in a larger pot, but it does not seem to have solved the problem and they seem to be slowly getting worse. I can’t find anything else on google or anyone that seems to know, could it be root rot?? I have been careful not to overwater!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi I have three hydrangeas in pots and have them inside. Maybe this is not a good idea but they look good where I have got them. They are not looking there best with brown leaves and leaves falling off. Maybe I have watered them too much or maybe they don’t like being inside. Help please. Jan

Hi there
I’m seeking advice in regards to indoor trees. I would like a plant that would grow between 1-2m, would do alright in a pot, and in a fairly decent amount of sunlight. I have no issues moving it outside for some sun if need be.
Thank you

I want to give a bonsai tree as a Christmas gift. Can’t say I’ve ever seen them in your Bethlehem store but worth asking? If they are in stock, am I able to pre-order and pick up as near to Christmas as possible as I know from experience there’s no way I could keep one alive for more than a few days.
