Hi there,

We bought one for indoor use a few months ago, but it’s developed browning on several of the leaves. Suggestions/diagnosis welcome!

Greetings

A few day’s ago I bought a gerbera plant from the warehouse. When i got home, i realised it was an ‘indoor’ gerbera. I’ve not heard of ‘indoor’ gerberas before and am asking whether or not it could be planted outside to become an ‘outdoor’ gerbera or is indoors a must?

thanks
Corinne

hi, I have an indoor peace lily. Its leaves are starting to turn yellow at the edges, and its become quite droopy. Does this mean I need to feed it with something in particular?

Hi,

I was wandering what plants you would recommend for office use.
I was looking for x1 large plant, and a few smaller ones with some color, white or blue or red…
Also – what things to consider when caring for plants in an office environment?

Kind Regards

Hi,
I’ve been trying to locate an indoor plant called a waxy hoya. It’s a hanging plant with with white / pinkish flowers in a round bunch.

Do you stock them or where I could find one.

Also, do you stock African Violet plants. Again something I’m finding difficult to find.

Much appreciated
Helen

Do orchids grow a new budding stem if the original turns woody? I am considering repotting it but don’t know if it will be a waste of time.

Hi
I’ve been given a tillandsia (air plant) and have been putting it in water about once a week (as per the instruction card that came with it). However, the leaves are starting to go brown, curling up and looking like they are dying. I’m not sure if I have given it too much water, or with this heat the last few weeks I’ve not given it enough water!!! Help please! I don’t want to kill it as it was a present from my brother and his partner!
Thanks
Caroline

Hi there,

I reacently bought an upside down planter, wondering what type of plants would go best for it.

The plant would be indoors with no direct sunlight but a well lit room.

Regards,

Sally

Hiyas
I have 2 Calathea plants, I believe the Rufibarba type.
They live in my conservatory in Christchurch and aren’t looking great.
Originally I thought they could have some kind of tiny bugs, see the close-up image of the speckled looking leaf. Then I thought perhaps I was over-watering, but then I read into it more and now I’m concerned they’re getting too much light.
I’ve attached a photo of where they live, which shows where the sun goes. When it’s high they would likely get a bit of direct sun on their leaves.
I usually do so well with house plants, but I can’t seem to get it right with these. Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you in advance
Sara
