For the past few years this clivia has been pale yellow. This year it is green and orange and bell shaped. Lovely, but what happened?

Hi there

Should I pinch out the top of our newly planted Warratah once established to encourage bushy growth or should I just let it do its own thing and prune back after flowering only?

Thank you

Should the tubers be lifted from the ground (or in my case the pots)?
If so when?

Hi
I am looking for Wallflower plants. These are scented and usually yellow/orange in colour.
Do you have any?
Are you getting any?
When will they be available?

I have a weeping Blue Atlas Cedar tree (Cedrus Atlantica Glauca Pendula) which was planted in a large wooden planter box in June last year. A mix of good quality outdoor container mix plus organic compost was used and topped off with a layer of Mulch & Grow and a layer of fine bark chips on top. A few weeks ago toadstools started appearing & I am having to remove them on a weekly basis. I am suspecting that the spores must have either been in the compost or the mulch & grow that was used. Both of these were purchased bagged products.
Any suggestions on how to discourage these please other than removing the top few inches of soil & replacing as tree is too large to completely repot.
Thanks in advance!

You mention in your piece about compost heaps that oak leaves should not be included as they take a long time to degrade.
I have a lot of oak leaves each autumn and would much appreciate your advice as to how I can make them disappear more quickly than they will if left to their own natural cycle.

I understand the site was closed for refurbishment but when is it due to reopen? I drive past every day and there isn’t anything going on except the teenage smokers in the afternoon.

Hi. Our next door neighbour has a Chinese Toon tree (Toonis sinensis?) which is right beside our fenceline. The tree continueually sends suckers under the fence through into our lawn and gardens. We have tried several different types of weed killers including 2 different types of Roundup
And Kiwi care product to no avail as these suckers just keep growing back.
Any advice on how to deal with these please?
Thanks in advance.

I have recently managed to get hold of some Ixia Viridiflora seeds and would like best advice on when and how to sow them? Are these sown at same time bulbs should be planted? I am planning on growing these in pots not the ground.
Thanks in advance.

Hi. My swan plants are over a metre high but are merely sticks now (after the feasting by caterpillars and monarch butterflies). Can I cut them back and, if yes, how severely?
