Hi,
We have a hedge (Mexican orange blossom) that has bora. The hedge has grown quite large for the space and the combination of this and the bora it is now quite woody.
What are the chances of getting it back to good health?

Secondly we have a buxus hedge that looks like it has some type of fungi or mould? Is there any common conditions this is likely to be?

Thanks,
Amanda.

I started some brazilian carnival flowers from seed and they have been doing very well however they have developed chocolate brown spots on the under side of the leaves and now on the stems. The spots are powdery and are developing in concentric circles. Is it a fungus or insect causing this ? What can I do to get rid of them ?

  1. Can you please tell me what I can use to control bronze beetle on camellia, fruit trees and roses. I have Shield. Will that work on the bronze beetles chewing the roses? 2. I have a virus in my camellia and it has yellow green leaves. How do I fix this?

Hi!
We have recently moved to a new house that has some tall Cyprus / conifer trees. They are showing some brown foliage as shown in the photos. I cannot see any bugs or scale in the plants themselves. Is this perhaps normal for this time of year?
Thank you,
Shelley

I have inherited a garden with a lot of naturalised bulbs that are too hard to lift. The first few years the flowers were prolific but recent years have seen fewer and fewer blooms but lots of green lush leaves.

I have used specific fertiliser. The site is somewhat shaded but not densely.

Have the bulbs reached the end of their life?

My Camellia is over 15 years old. Grows beautifully anddoes not bloom. The 2 years it bloomed it was a double bloom hidden deep inside the bush. That was over 7 years ago.

Hi there
HELP! Planted Camellia hedgeseveral months ago (Cinnamon Cindy) and for the most part its done well. In one particular corner though some of them one by one have turned up their toes/died. 7 in total now. They start off being a little less green than the other Camellias and the leaves beginning to brown at the edges (and then dropping off). On pulling the sick plant out I’ve noticed some slight powdery stuff on the roots.
Your help would be much appreciated.
Many many thanks
Veronica

Hi there

We have a large healthy looking camellia tree but for the past few years all the buds have fallen off. We might get one or two flowers but all the buds just drop off.

Thanks

I have a large camellia tree, the middle of which is looking a bit sick. Not as many leaves and some yellowing.

I have fed with camellia fertiliser with no improvement. Any ideas what the problem could be and how I can rectify it?

Thanks 🙂
