Hi

I acquired two falcate yellowwood trees from Palmer’s Remuera and they are potted in recommended pots from palmers.

They are about 1.3m from the soil line.

I wonder how often I should water them and what else I need to do to care for them.

Thanks

Brett

I understand it is not good practice to apply fertiliser and lime at the same time. Which product should be applied first, and how long do I need to wait before the next product can be applied?

We have two ponytails that have developed a little white bug on them and there is like a cotton wool appearance on the leaves. It looks like white powder. How do we get rid of these?

I have a Camellia called Black Night in my garden but it just doesn’t grow. The same shrub in another garden that was planted at the same time has grown and is about 4 times the size of mine. Is mine lacking something?

Hi

My Lemon tree is very old and flowers continually. However, it does suffer badly from Verrucosis. If I understand correctly when spraying with copper it will cause the flowers to drop off. If so, what is the best time and suggested method of spraying?

My Agave palms are suffering from the frost, some of the outer leaves have turned a pale yellow and others are a faded brown…is there anything I can do to aid the healing process for these plants and prevent future problems?

Nine years ago I moved to my home and inherited a mature, healthy red camelia tree, which bloomed abundantly for 7 years. In the past 2 years the leaves have gradually lost their glossy green colour and gone yellow with brown specks and there are a lot less leaves, fewer flowers which are floppy and fall off the tree as soon as open. I have applied specific camellia fertiliser but maybe not often enough. The tree is in full sunlight. Has it just lived its lifespan or how it can be saved?

Hi

I have two fuschias growing in containers, the one is not doing well at all. It has now started to lose all of its leaves and flowers. They just drop off before opening. The leaves turn yellow and drop off. I thought that maybe I had over watered them. Could this be so. Can you please help me it how I can bring them back to life. 🙁

Thanks You

Hi there,
Could you please suggest an effective way of ridding my garden of oxalis? I am tired of pulling up these persistent weeds but do not wish to use anything that might kill my plants.

Thanks for your advice.

Getting small brown spots on leaves and also on edges of leaves. The tree is still young and hasn’t yet fruited.

I think I need to fertilise my houseplants, as they’re all looking a bit yellow. I do re-pot them every year, but need advice as to what I should use in between?

Hi, A couple of months ago I bought some replacement silver beet plants for the old ones that had gone to seed. It was disappointing to find that a lot of the leaves developed rust on them and were unuseable and just had to picked off and thrown away in the trash. Even now there is still some rust around on them. What is the cause, or what did I do wrong? How can I avoid this in future. Only have a small vegie garden about 20 x 10 feet and grow quite happily spuds, broccoli, caulis, tomatoes, corn, broad beans, green beans from time to time.
Look forward to your answer.
Cheers

Hi there

My large geranium has become half brown, from the inside out. Its become covered in white fly. Should I chop it right back and/or just treat the fly?
