As above.

I grew some parsley, chives, coriander, basil and parsley indoors and it got whitefly.

A friend told me this is inevitable if grown indoors

Any help appreciated 🙂

Hi. I have 8 young avocado trees, and on the 2 Hass (on Zutano) ones there is a small area on a branch that has white growth on it. Under that is a brown discolouration with evenly spaced dots in the bark. I’d love to know what this is and what to do about it.
thanks

My Camellia is over 15 years old. Grows beautifully anddoes not bloom. The 2 years it bloomed it was a double bloom hidden deep inside the bush. That was over 7 years ago.

I’ve discovered my string of pearls has mealy bugs! After some research online, I first treated it with a spray of water, dish soap and crushed garlic. It seemed to get rid of some bugs but not all. I have also read that repotting a plant with mealy bugs is a good idea, but because string of pearls is so delicate, I am worried I will damage it even more.

What should I do! Would an insecticide be best, and which one should I use?

Thanks in advance,
Charlotte

Hi – I divided and fed my daylillies last year with blood and bone and compost, but despite that they are still looking lacklustre with yellowing leaves. Could they have some sort of rust? How can I restore them back to health?

I have a large camellia tree, the middle of which is looking a bit sick. Not as many leaves and some yellowing.

I have fed with camellia fertiliser with no improvement. Any ideas what the problem could be and how I can rectify it?

Thanks 🙂

We have buxus plants planted as hedging along both sides of a path in front of our house. Planted seven years ago they have thrived until leaves when the leaves of many of them – especially on the far side of the path where rainwater gathers and they are less sheltered from wind – have turned brown and are falling off in alarming quantities, although there are still some new, light green leaves on the tops of the plants. What could have caused this and is there any way of saving them?

My lemon tree has little piles of sawdust under some of the branches. The leaves on these branches are also quite yellow. Is this lemon tree borer?

Hi,
could you please tell me what could be wrong with my Waratahs? They have suddenly developed brown dead looking leaves which are spreading along a row of mature Waratah plants. The flowers on the brown leaf stems are smaller than the others. We live in a high rainfall area. Thankyou for any advice or help you can offer.

I have a well established Rhodo (unknown name) – this year it produced buds that did not develop into flowers and the leaves are going dark brown at the tips. there is a very slight possibility that it got a little bit of poison into its system as I used some on nearby convolvulus. If so how do I nurse it back to health?

I have agave that are being eaten by something. The bug is sucking circles and areas of the gel and plant and it’s leaving pale less fleshy parts as well as some that go brown. It’s not snails as I have been out at night and not seen any. What else could it be?? Could it be earwigs and what do I do to stop this? I have photos but I don’t know how to upload them for you to see.

Hi

I have two fuschias growing in containers, the one is not doing well at all. It has now started to lose all of its leaves and flowers. They just drop off before opening. The leaves turn yellow and drop off. I thought that maybe I had over watered them. Could this be so. Can you please help me it how I can bring them back to life. 🙁

Thanks You

Alyson

I’ve got this potted in a sunny but shaded part by my front door. It’s been thriving but the last month lots of leaves have gone yellow and fallen off. Then the existing leaves are not the rich green anymore and the leaves are whilted all the time. I water once a week but am scared to water more. Help. I love this plant!

The leaves of my Gardenia are turning yellow (some are) Could this be because of the very wet winter we have had? It is a fairly new plant and should be thriving

I have leucoermum about6 years old in sandy sunny headland. It has recently yellowed most of foliage. I know you have to be very careful to avoid standard fertilisers but do you think it might be short of trace nutrients or can you suggest what to do?
