I am growing an avocado seed in a jar of water. The root has sprouted to about 7cm. Today it was knocked and about 3.5cm of root was snapped off. Will the plant continue to grow, as it is germinating will it go into shock?

Im not a very good ‘grower’ but my whanau do try to plant whenever we can. Normally lettuce and capsicum. But we have ventured into Spinach, spring onions, a variety of Silverbeet and a mixture of herbs. The big problem I have is that they all grow at once and need to be eaten almost all at once.
how should we plant so that they veges are constantly available?

I hope you can help. We have 4 tomato plants in the vegetable garden and although they are well laden with fruit none of the tomatoes have gone red yet. We have two plants in pots on the deck and we have been picking tomatoes off them for 3 weeks now. The vegetable garden get good sun, is well watered and has good drainage.

I was wondering if you have a product that will control earwigs in the garden..
They sit in the bottom of the stalks of the silver beet I think they eat it also..
I would love to find something that would sort this issue out.
