Im not a very good ‘grower’ but my whanau do try to plant whenever we can. Normally lettuce and capsicum. But we have ventured into Spinach, spring onions, a variety of Silverbeet and a mixture of herbs. The big problem I have is that they all grow at once and need to be eaten almost all at once.
how should we plant so that they veges are constantly available?

I have accumulated a good lot of broken down compost into one of my three wooden compost piles, ( i call it the using pile) and last month i added fish guts to it which upon turning recently I have found no evidence of this fish so the bin is working, BUT there are no worms in it? My question is why is there no worms?
I have been trying to grow courgettes but they seem to rot. I picked one of the rotting baby courgettes and noticed that they are being eaten by a small white bug that seems to be living in the soil. I have noticed these bugs before while watering, as they seem to come to the top of the soil while watering. It seems to be that the bugs are living in the soil and when the courgettes touch the soil they are being eaten and rot, can you help?
I planted some of your vege Combo (money maker, sweet 100 & roma). The plants have grown tall, lots of flowers & little green tomatoes BUT none of the tomatoes seem to grow bigger or turn orange or red!! Some leaves are turning yellow and many have spots and holes!! I have pruned the suckers & yellow leaves and sprinkled coffee grounds to keep caterpillars away (if they are responsible for the holes in leaves?) Though I dont see any caterpillars or insects. I see holes in green tomatoes too!
Incorrect spray used. Yesterday morning we accidentally sprayed our many tomatoes with Yates fungus gun systemic disease spray containing 0.05g/L myclobutanil for roses, flowers & other ornamentals. Do we lose the whole crop. Can we, in time, pick them or should we pick off every one of our many growing tomatoes right now and throw them out. What would be best from the poisoning point of view? We have just had a small amount rain overnight
