The leaves of my garlic plants are turning yellow and dry. I have been watering them regularly. Why is this so? Will applying Sequestron Yellow Leaf Tonic help? I have also been feeding them sheep pellets.

I just bought 2 plants in punnets tomatoes and capsicum. Now before i could have a chance to put them into the garden i had to leave them in their punnets for a week without watering. Now they have turned brown, crispy brown. So what i did i have added water and discarded all the dry leaves from the punnet and have put the pots on some wet soil. What i want to know is will the plant recover and grow. What more can i do to help them.

I live in Philippines and have bought seeds from N.Z. to plant here. All seeds are “presumed” suitable for tropical areas.
My tomatoes sprout o.k. will refuse to grow more than 20-30 centimetres high and take 3-4 months to get there. They will not flower.
Other vegetables also grow very slowly.
My soil is very fertile and I water frequently.
Do you know what problem could be?

My potatoes have got the blight. Spraying them has not helped. Can I perhaps cut them back to save them?

Some of last years garlic missed being picked and have now sprouted. If I transplant these out so that they have sufficient space will they grow properly or am I best to start from new bulbs?

When using dust, to keep the bugs away, what is the standard procedure. Do you have to wait 7-10 days until you can eat the veges again. I know you only apply every 7-10 days.
Can the dust simply be washed away, and we continue to eat our lettuce ?
The product used was “Yates Derris Dust.”
I have read all the info on the product and research online.

I have accidentally pulled out a crown pumpkin too early. Can it still ripen with the stalk on? Shall I leave it in the sun or in a shaded place? It is the size of a small soccer ball and mostly grey with one area of darker greeny grey.

I have 2 types of pumpkin. A normal buttercup variety and a gourmet smaller pumpkin my Grandma gave me (sorry we don’t know the name of it). When do I know they’re ready to pick? Especially the gourmet one which is meant to produce smaller pumpkins.

We have grown potatoes two years in a row. First year no potatoes grew and this year only a few but when you cut them in half they have a big round brown circle & are very very watery when cooked. (not edible) what would cause this
