My broad beans have a type of black spot on them that slowly seems to kill the stem and prevents them from podding up – what can I do?

You could spray a seaweed spray made up of 1 part seaweed and 1 part water. Leave to steep to a rich Tea colour then spray on foliage. This will help if it is rust that is forming. Another plan would be to spray an anti fungal like Kiwicare Organic Copper Oxy. This is safe to use on vegetables with no holding period. Copper Oxy protects from fungal and bacterial disease.
