I have a Chilli seedling & a Tamarillo seeding that I have grown from seed. I want to plant them into indoor pots because we are coming into winter, and also I will want the plants to move with me. Can you grow Tamarillo trees in pots? What size? What size pot is enough for a Chilli plant? What soil will be good for the pots? Potting Mix/Tomato Mix/Vege Mix etc..?

Plants in pots should follow the thirds rule – 1 third plant, two thirds pot. As the plants grow, you can put them into larger pots as they need it. You should use a good quality potting mix which suits the place they will be grown in e.g. tub mix if they’re to grow outside – but while they are small a general purpose potting mix will be fine.
