Hi,
I have some mystery cardoon/artichoke plants that have sprouted in my garden and I’m unsure if I should try and blanch the stems to eat, or wait for globes to grow to eat as artichokes.
Is there any simple way to tell the difference between a cardoon and a globe atrtichoke so I know what to do with them?

Hi Graydon,
Not that we are aware off, I understand for Artichoke to be slightly tidier plant, but that could also be influenced by growing consitions.
Thanks
