Hi
I acquired two falcate yellowwood trees from Palmer’s Remuera and they are potted in recommended pots from palmers.
They are about 1.3m from the soil line.
I wonder how often I should water them and what else I need to do to care for them.
Thanks
Brett

Hi Brett,
These trees like to be kept moist and have free draining soil. As you are growing them in pots, coming into summer I would be watering them most days. Put your finger down into the soil if you need to check how dry it is.
When summer eases off, you will not have to water as often, and you can always check to see if they need a water. Keep the soil moist but not sopping wet. Do not let them dry out, they love moisture.
Place them in a position with full sun if you can, They can also be placed in a part shade position.
Feed with a fertiliser that is suitable for pots, something such as Tui Novatec Premium.
