I have a couple of climbing Metrosideros carminea that are about eight years old. In the last few months the leaves at the bottom of the plants are going silvery, dying and falling off. Any thoughts?

Hi there it most likely is drought. Rake up the leaves and dispose of then spray with neem oil to be sure is not fungus or insect problem. Finally water well every 3 days.
