I have at least 20 caterpillars savaging my snow plant and at this rate, I soon won’t have a plant left…..
I am looking to remove them to a home made housing / aquarium but I don’t want to cause them harm, has anyone experienced this previously and got good results?

Hi there, the caterpillars will need food i.e. the swan plant, there is not much else they will eat. Sometimes we have to be cruel to be kind, by either removing the eggs and destroying the tiny caterpillar before they get too big. If a bigger caterpillar runs out of food it is unlikely to turn into a butterfly. Thanks, the Palmers team
