Hi,

If your soil is rich and full of nutrients the white stringy cobweb substance may actually be a good thing. It may be a beneficial fungus that is good for the soil and aids in breaking down organic matter. You could probably just leave this without causing any issues.

Monitor the substance, if it does not creep on any of the plants, In my opinion it would not be harmful but beneficial.

However, if you really don’t like the look of it and would rather just get rid of it spraying a fungicide such as FreeFlo copper (a certified organic spray) would get rid of this for you.
