Can you tell me what are some suitable companion plants to grow alongside garlic?

Hi Carole,
Given garlic is a bulb/root crop we would recommend growing any of your leafy greens as a companion. Spinach, silver beet etc. would work well as they will not be competing for the same nutrients.
A nice flower to plant among the garlic are Viola’s. The flowers are edible and will help suppress weeds. By the time your garlic is ready to harvest the Viola’s will be just finishing for the season.
Thanks, the Palmers Team
