I have lost a couple of different conifers, just turn brown and die. What can I fertilise others with to try and prevent this happening to others. Thanks

Hi Kathy, I would not suggest a fertiliser rather focus on the soil environment, is it planted too deep and as a consequence gets too wet. Ensure conifers are planted slightly above normal soil levels but add a good mulch around the plant (at least 7-10cm thick (like the Kolush manuka mulch) and repeat this 1-2 a year.
