I have planted a lot of dahlia tubers in pots, when the plants die off can I just put them in the garage in their pots and let them dry out? or do I need to keep watering them? or do I need to lift the tubers out to store?
thanks Rachel

Hi Rachel, Definitely stop watering and let them dry out, preferably lift them especially if you are in heavier soils, store the bulbs in paper bag or similar (not plastic) and store in the garden shed ready for replanting later. Thanks the Palmers Team
