I have 2 deciduous Azalea’s which have to be cut right back or shifted for few weeks in chch in march. What is the best for the plant and if cut back will they recover?

Azaleas, Camellia and Rhodo’s don’t like to be moved very much. If you can remove as much soil as possible around the root ball and place them on a double folded sheet then tie them up like a Christmas pudding. Water well and store them in a shaded area.
