My bean plants are dying off after they get to about 4 inches tall. When I pull them out there is what looks like little white eggs on the stems where they have been under the ground. There are a lot of ants in the ground. Do you know what this could be and what I can do about it?

You can get rid of ants using Kiwicare LAWNGARD PRILLS on nest entrances, flowerbeds and gravel pathways . When watered in it penetrates the soil killing nests and acting as a curtainbarrier. NO ANTS ANT SAND can be brushed into the cracks and crevices in paving and driveways to kill nests and prevent ants using these places for nests. I would suggest you treat the ground you are growing the the beans, remove the beans which are there now and even a good depth of soil where you have found the eggs and replenish once the soil has been treated.
