Small dropping off tree and rotting on ground

Hi Peter, If the fruit is smaller than usual then the plant would have been under stress during the time the fruit was growing, the fruit of the Feijoa will drop off as soon as it is ready for harvesting, a lot of people will just collect them as they are falling off as that is the time they are perfect to eat. (the next stage is that they will rot) For next year ensure they have good water supply around the late January/February time frame and use a good mulch around the tree to help reduce the stress (try the new Kolush Manuka garden mulch).
