I’m thinking of planting Yucca filamentosa ‘Bright Edge” among plants like black/green mondo grass, coprosmas, hebes, libertias and dwarf phormiums. Is this variety of yucca frost tolerant (i.e. tolerant of Rotorua frost)??

Plant our yucca in a hot dry, well-drained position. Yes the filamentosa variety are very frost hardy. Frost tolerance varies hugely depending on drainage, radiant heat and how long the first sits before burning off. Mature plants, taller plants also have increased tolerance.
