In view of the disastrous garlic season here in 2016/17, is there any sure fire way to plant this year’s crop?
I am considering planting in large black plastic planters alongside my brick house, in most of all day
sun.
Is that an option?

Hi John, The main requirement is a sunny well drained spot, so the large containers alongside the house would be fine. Choose a good quality potting mix for the pots, and liquid feed regularly throughout spring to ensure good growth and to stop the plants from drying out.
Thanks the Palmers Team
