Hi, we have 2 extremely large bird of paradise plants in our garden and I’d like to know how to go about taking a few stems and repotting for use as in indoor plant? I have seen many photos lately with these plants used indoors and would like to try this. Do I need to dig out the roots of some of the large stems? If so what’s the best way as the plant is huge.

Thanks

Hi Stacey, considering the size of the plant it will be hard to dig out a piece that looks good enough and has enough roots to maintain its health and grow. If you find it is impossible to get such piece you might need to get yourself a new one. Thanks, the Palmers team
