Hello, my son and family are moving house and they have the old fashioned grape vine. They have been in the present house for over 10 years and the grape vine was well established when they shifted in. Can cuttings be taken of this wonderful grape vine.
Please, please say yes, and how to do it.

Hi Ross,

Unfortunately no, the Grape will be a grafted variety so a cutting will end up being different.
The only way is to wait till winter, then prune the grape vine hard (as you do anyway) then dig this up and replant into the new place.
