4 yr old hedge approx 3 meters high. One plant at end is in not well drained spot and has all signs of root rot. I wish to rescue plant so need to know what to treat plant and soil with please. Thank you

Hi John, Unless you improve the “not draining” side of the problem, you will always have a plant issue. You can treat the root rot, add additional fertiliser etc. but it will always struggle if you don’t fix the drainage. I would normally recommend to dig it up, plant it a lot higher to create a better draining environment, but the age and size of the plant makes this very risky. Having said that it might well be the best solution as it will always struggle to keep up with the others. Thanks the Palmers Team
