thinking of planting Lisianthus, but can not find much information about it.
Im living in Auckland, and wanting to plant them outside, when do I plant them, position, and do you stock them. Would appreciate any relevant information.

Hi Jude
Thanks for your question. They are lovely aren’t they! Plant them in pots outside to ensure their roots are not sitting in waterlogged ground as their roots will rot easily. Position the pots in partial sun. They need sun for the flowers to form but will not tolerate full hot all day sun. They do not like the outside evening temp to drop below 16 degrees so you may want to watch for this as the temperature cools. Plant them in March to May. Touch base with the local store closest to you in Auckland to see what they have in stock. They will be happy to help you find what you are needing. Have a look at our store locator to help with where to visit.
Happy gardening
