What causes a hardenbergia’s leaves to start turning brown?

Hi Betty,
Brown leaves often indicate that there may be a watering issue. They are very hardy shrubs but they could be a bit thirsty especially in this dry summer heat. On the other side of things, the plant could be sitting in soil that is too wet if you have been watering deeply and the drainage in the soil is not right.
If there is any extra information you could provide me with, that would be great. Where do you have it planted? How often do you water? Are there any other marks or blemishes on the plant? and I will see if I can offer you any extra advice 🙂
Many Thanks
