I have a mature Hibiscus which this year has flowered but there are no leaves at all on the plant. What has happened and can it fixed?

Thanks

Hi Gordon, not too sure what is going wrong here, unusual for a hibiscus not to have leaves but have flowers. Maybe too much water has caused it to drop the leaves, then it has come away by producing flower, and in this case leaves will follow. It’s also possible the plant is on it’s way out, flowers may be it’s last way of trying to reproduce. If it is a watering issue, simply reduce watering and make sure the plants feet aren’t too wet. Feel free to bring a photo of the plant into store for one of our experts to have a look at. Thanks, the Palmers team
