I have a very healthy horse, who gets fed very good food every day, and consequently the output is almost as good as the input. I have been mucking out the paddocks recently, with the hope of selling some of the manure ($3 per large horse-food bag), but wonder whether I am better to leave it in the paddock and harrow it back into the ground? The soil is sandy (in Papamoa, Mt Maunganui). What would you suggest? If anyone has proven methods, or wants to purchase some manure, please contact me on 021 285 6609. Jan

Hi Jan, As you say there will be lots of goodies in this lovely manure. I would suggest your sandy soil in Papamoa would love to have this spread across it (then again pocket money for the kids if you bag it and put it on the side of the road). Thanks the Palmers Team
