Yes, you plant Elephant Garlic in the period April to June. They should be planted about 6 to 10 cm apart with the necks protruding. The bulbs with their new cloves will be ready to harvest about December-January. I would advise not to plant a whole bunch as is. Normally you would plant a single clove off the bunchand that single will grow and develop into another whole bunch &. if things go well. A bunch might vary in the number of cloves you could expect (when pulled apart after harvest) depending on growing conditions and when it is dug up (ie; how long it is remained in the ground).
