Hi Julie, They can easily be re-potted and a significant amount of roots can be removed. In this case you can also prune the foliage of the plant significantly. (balancing the two). Using a good quality potting mix like Pot power will rejuvenate the plant very quickly especially at this time of the year. A good sunny position is best to achieve good balanced growth. If it’s on a patio ensure that you rotate the pot every month so all sides of the plant gets a fair crack of the sun.
