One of my hydrangea is look a little sad. Leaves really small although lots of flower buds on them. Leaves are orange in colour and is quite a lot smaller and behind flowering/budding than the others planted in the same location.

Hi Varinia, Is this plant in a pot, it could be root bound and need to be repotted. If it is in the garden there is a localised soil problem. Although not normally recommend for this time of the year, but I would dig this up check out the root system check out the soil and look for anything unusual. It might be a case to ad some good planting mix to into the soil and replant, please note you will need to water thoroughly through the summer months.
