I have a very small white bug living in the soil that's killing my plants what's the best way to radicate them

Hi Sue, If it is a crawling bug it is most likely a mealy bug which are notoriously hard to kill. A spray and drench of Confidor will help but this might need to be repeated. Please note that this is not to be used on edible crops. It is also possible that the white bug is just a fungus that grows on the roots of some plants and doesn’t do any harm, so please check this.
