There are insect nests the cracks some retainingwall posts. about 2cm long and looks like cotton wool. Can you suggest what it may be and what insecticide would be appropriate? Thank you in advance

Hi Dan, it could be wooly aphids or mealy bug if they are in the cracks of timber retaining walls and not on plants, or might even be some fungal growth. We would suggest using a general houseplants cleaner and wash it out. Thanks, the Palmers team
