Hi , I bought the lemon verbena 1 year ago from there. The plant was beautiful , so I put some premium Tui fertilazer and after a few days my plant became totally wrong, the leaves are brown and falling down all over the place , so , I desired to move my plant out in the garden because the soil there is very good . I don’t know if this were a good idea.. Maybe the tui fertilazer burn my plant ? Thank

Hi Carito,

I would love to know what fertiliser you bought? If it was the Tui Novatec Premium, I think it would be highly unlikely it burnt your plant as it is pot and container friendly and will only release the fertiliser at controlled intervals, however, if you used another non-pot friendly fertiliser this could be the case.

If you want to move your plant to the garden, you could do so, just ensure it has good drainage. It can be grown in either full sun or light shade. It does not like the cold weather so mulch the ground and ensure it has some protection from cold and frost.

All the best, it is a lovely herb.
