I live in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and a regular customer of the Rotorua Garden Centre. I have in my garden rhododendrons, azalias, magnolias, roses, fruit trees ie plum, apple, fig, peach, cherry, lemon, lime, red orange, mandarines, strawberry, raspberry, gooseberry, blueberry, grape and thornless blackberry, as well as many native evergreen shrubs, Australian shrubs and perennials and annuals.
As you can see from the wide range of plants and trees I have in my garden it is expensive to find a suitable liquid fertiliser for everything.

I would appreciate your advice on a cost saving way of giving my plants the boost they need.

Hi Brenda, Palmers Rotorua stock a good range of organic liquid fertilisers (which I prefer compared to powder fertilisers, as they tend to kill worms, compared to liquid organic fertilisers that encourage worm activity) It is fine to swap them around ie from Garden booster (Fish) Biofeed (compost) Seasol (Seaweed) Thrive Seaweed, Biom (tapioca) plus others so there is plenty of choice and I would encourage to swap them around, most are very similar in economic value, but they can all be used on everything.

Thanks the Palmers Team
