I recently bought a Louisa plum for a friend – then noticed on the label it said partially self-fertile, and mentioned a Billington. Does this mean they need a Billington plum to be grown with it ?

Hi Bronwyn, With Plums often a cross pollinator although not necessarily required, it does help with more/better fruit set (any plum that flowers at a similar time). Thanks the Palmers Team
